Understanding Aperture
What do you think before
you buy smartphone? Nowadays smartphone not only for phone call it’s became a part
of our life. We take a lot of videos and photos from our mobile phone. we
normally ask camera megapixel while buy a smartphone. But megapixel not only to
method to check camera quality. Normally, we don’t known about aperture and we
never ask about it.
Aperture refers to the opining
of a lens’s diaphragm through which light passes. The lower aperture gives more exposure because
they represent the larger apertures, while the higher aperture gives less
exposure because they represent smaller apertures. This may seem a
little contradictory at first but will become clearer as you take pictures at
varying aperture.
How
Aperture Affects Shutter Speed
The aperture also affects shutter
speed. Using a low aperture means more light is entering the lens and therefore
the shutter doesn't need to stay open as long to make a correct exposure which
translates into a faster shutter speed. Again, the reverse is true: using a
high aperture means that less light is entering the lens and therefore the
shutter will need to stay open a little longer which translates into a slower
shutter speed.
